Welcome to Sri Sudharmarama Vidyayatana Pirivena
Sri Sudharmarama Vidyayatana Pirivena is committed to providing quality education while preserving Buddhist cultural heritage. Our administration works diligently to support students in their academic and spiritual growth, offering programs from junior to senior secondary levels.

Derector
The Most Venerable Dr. Kirinde Assaji Thero—the Chief Incumbent of the Gangarama Maha Viharaya in Hunupitiya, Colombo; holder of the title Dharma Keerthi Sri Gnanesvarabhidhana; Chief Sanghanayaka of the Colombo Nawa Korale; and a Royal Pandith—serves as the Manager of the Sri Sudharmarama Vidyayathana Pirivena.

ශ්රී ජයවර්ධනපුර විශ්වවිද්යාලයෙන් බෞද්ධ දර්ශනය පිලිබඳව ගෞරව ශාස්ත්රවේදී උපාධිය හිමි පූජ්ය සියඹලාවල නන්දවංස හිමියන් එම විශ්වවිද්යාලයේම භාහිර කථිකාචායවරයෙකු ද වෙයි. උන්වහන්සේ ජාතික අධ්යාපන ආයතනයේ පශ්චාත් උපාධි අධ්යාපන ඩිප්ලෝමාව හදාරමින් සිටින අතර 2021 වර්ශයේ සිට සුධර්මාරාම විද්යායතන පිරිවෙනේ නියෝජ්ය පරිවෙණාධිපති (අධ්යාපන සංවර්ධන) තනතුරුවල කටයුතු කර තිබේ. ඉන් පසුව 2025.10.01 දින සිට පිරිවෙනේ පරිවෙණාධිපති ධුරයේ වැඩ භාරගෙන ඇත.
Ven. Atabage Sangharakkhitha Thero
Deputy Pirivenadhipathi (Administration)
The Venerable Atabage Sangharakkhitha Thero, who holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Kelaniya, also completed his Bachelor of Arts in Buddhist Studies at the same university. Furthermore, he has obtained a Higher Diploma in Library and Information Science from the same university. He has served as the Deputy Principal (Administration) of the Sudharmarama Vidyayathana Pirivena since 2020.
Academic Divisions
Our educational programs cater to students from junior to senior secondary levels, with specialized approaches for different needs.
Junior Section
Educational activities conducted parallel to government school curriculum from Grade 6 to Grade 9. Special attention given to children who drop out of school due to low literacy levels, with various literacy programs for inclusive education.
Secondary Section
Students in Grades 10 and 11 engage in educational activities parallel to government curriculum. Children who fail G.C.E. Ordinary Level on first attempt can be admitted, with special learning methodology. Activities take place every weekday until 3:00 PM.
Senior Secondary Section
Advanced Level Arts and Commerce streams offered parallel to school curriculum. Arts stream includes language, social science, technology, and classical language subjects. Commerce stream offers related disciplines.
